  TSI-1000 TALLY CONTROLLER

At the heart of the IMAGE VIDEO Tally System is the TSI-1000 Tally System Interface.  The TSI-1000 collects information from signal outing and processing equipment to operate displays and tallies as directed by its internal configuration information.  The TSI-1000 is configured from a Windows PC running the Tally System Console program.  Once configured, the TSI-1000 continues to operate the tally system with or without the PC connected.  Other TSI-1000 features include:

• All electronics housed in two rack unit frame
• Wide range input power supply removable from front of unit
• Six RS-422 / RS-485 ports
• Four RJ11 remote display ports
• Two high speed coaxial BNC ports
• Two RS-232 ports
• Ethernet port
• One longitudinal time code port
• Optional redundant power supply plugs in to same frame
• Front-mounted tri-color LED's indicate status of TSI-1000 ports and power supplies
• Two or more TSI-1000 units connected together through their Ethernet ports can extend system capacity or make independent local tally systems while still sharing remote information

Image Video introduces two low cost tally controllers, the GSI‑1 and GSI‑2 and Tally console software. The user can create a GPI routing matrix up to 120 x 120. The GSI-1 controller used for GPI only routing configurations. The GSI-2 also provides a serial interface to popular production switchers, such as GVG4000, SONY MVS-8000, Thomson Kalypso, and DD35

• Cost effective tally and GPI routing solution
• Available with (GSI-2) or without (GSI-1) serial interface to supported switchers
• Pre-defined configurations and tally layouts may be recalled from stored files
• GPI state is maintained in non-volatile memory in the event of a power failure
• Easily configured via a Windows PC running the supplied tally console software
• Uses Image Video standard 4211 GPI interface units for GPI matrices up to 120 x 120
• When used with the GSI-2, output relays in the 4211 parallel interface may be controlled by any combination of switcher crosspoints and GPI inputs
